Mission Complete!
So, I played Tetris. It has made long strides since I last saw it. I am glad it was able to work out, but I wish I had done more. I also probably should have sent my answers to Keenan's questions earlier. It's finally finals season, but we're more or less unaffected out here. Looking forward to finishing this last project and wrapping things up...

So we're waiting on two teams it seems like. The mainlining process probably could have gone better, but I feel like the code that was being mainlined was kind of subpar. The warnings I see in the code make me wonder a little bit what everyone is doing. I tried running the game and was spammed with prints. We're still a long way away from being done, but at least I got to contribute a little. The temptation to fix other people's code is strong, at least to remove the warnings and those obnoxious prints, but I will resist.

You Do The Hooky-Poky And You Turn Yourself About
I ended a sentence with a preposition, this is tragic. In other news! I contributed a bunch of code to the cause. The blocks can now rotate. I am not sure how the rest of the code is being divided up, but hopefully we can see collisions soon. I believe it is now Musaed's task to finish our section of code with deleting the blocks. I also redid our test. It was soooo bad. And redid some code that was clearly never tested. Hopefully I will have a chance to talk to everyone later today/tonight.

In The Dark
I am finally in Bonn now and have Internet. I have no idea what is or is not done. I have missed a lot of team meetings and there's really no system for updating so I do not know the state of the code. I vaguely understand our task, but without knowing what needs to be done, I do not know where to start. I will just have to read the document and the code and see what's left to do.
Update: I added some code that does not really do anything and some comments and did some reformating, wewt. Hopefully I have the energy to do more tomorrow.

My Jet Was Running Dialup
So I was worried there for a second because the page loaded in all German, but fortunately after login, it went back to English. I have not been particularly participatory this last week, but very busy. I'd like to just be given something to code and send it back. Obviously the design is a huge part of it, but I'd rather just leave it to them. I have been mildly in the dark, but I have been following the emails and talked to Sebastian for a little bit. Between running around Berlin, homework, work, very slow café trips, and more running around Berlin, and jet lag sapping my strength, I haven't had much time to meet. Naturally a poor excuse though since this is for what I signed up. I hope to meet with the group soon though.

Pales
So, we finally finished the first half of the assignment right at the edge of its due and then got yelled at shortly after for some of our documents not being public. Fortunately I was on and we resolved it. Figuring out the design was a mess. People would be proposing the same thing, but arguing over it because they didn't understand each other. After a hundred revisions, we got something we liked. I think. Hopefully the implementation team can figure it all out... Time to get implementing ourselves. Wish I had more time - leaving the country this Friday...

Snow Way
So the snow and a broken laptop has been detrimental to my work flow. I finally got to CDM today to work and now Perforce won't let me get the files. This is proving rather difficult. I think only Sebastian has made any significant progress.
And now I have. I started this post before I started work, and now finishing it after I'm done. I must admit a few of my tests are kind of lazily through together, but I guess it works. I do not have much time left anyway and the building is closing soon. I had to have Ogren send me the project so I could work on it. I'll commit when I'm home. It feels to be done, I feel like this project has (fortunately for me) gone on for a long time.
Going to spend the next week without my laptop, hopefully the back up can get fixed and I can get into the labs more often. Though I do like the snow...

Zzzzzz
It seems our group has fallen behind. I've been sick, tired, busy or some combination this weekend. It's also hard to fit a lecture into the middle of my schedule. Sigh, I just want to be in Germany so I can have some time to get on top of everything. Anyway, our meetings are random and most communication is one-on-one so far which is no good. And now that my laptop is broken, I'll be without a laptop for over a week.

Crunchatize Me Captain!
So, we we're starting or something. Dividing up the work. It's a good thing Sebastian was takin' charge. Though somehow I ended up team leader. I was pretty sick today and yesterday. I guess this is pretty good for a post.

Blogging 2: Attack of the Branches (Which are Superior to Clones)
Sorry I really let everyone down with that title, I'll come up with better puns or something for the next one.
However, after watching the lecture earlier the week, I got to thinking about branches, obviously. I wish we had them at work, it'd be super helpful, but alas we are using SVN. I don't think it would be very helpful in any of my other projects, but who knows. The only one using Perforce probably won't need it though. The global project is using SVN. >.<
Looking forward to more programming...

Blogingful
Alright, I am now well on my way. Now that this blog is established, I can check that off my list.
So, being pretty familiar with Perforce meant I could do most of the first project easily. I was a bit embarrassed that even after grading so many Fibonacci programs, that I had to stop and really think to figure out how to make it work. Twice as embarrassed because of my love of recursion. I finally figured it out, but it still wasn't working. I ended up trying a bunch of things - then finally realized I hadn't actually called the function ever. I then proceeded to submit it and everything was good in the world.
